Welcoming the patient and initiating the medical file

To create your medical file, please bring the following:

• Identification Card (or passport)
• CNAM card (if affiliated)
• Referral letter from your referring physician
• All relevant medical examinations pertaining to your condition (including images, CDs, reports, and assessments). (if available)

Administration of the radioactive tracer

Radioactive agents can be administered intravenously, orally, or subcutaneously depending on the specific diagnostic procedures.

Preceding this stage, special preparatory measures might be undertaken, including an exercise test, hydration regimen, or complete rest, among others.

Image Acquisition

• Scintigraphic examinations are carried out using a state-of-the-art SIEMENS GAMMA camera.
• The acquisition of images may occur in one or multiple stages depending on the diagnostic indication.

Results and Reports

Upon completion of the examination, the nuclear medicine physician will provide you with the results along with a comprehensive report.
